darn anxiiety

it's bad enough to have anxiety on my work days, but this morning i am anxious about today. all i can think of seems to be problem outcomes.

i am taking my sister to drop off her car and all i can think of is what might go wrong: that i'll have to stop to use the bathroom, that my car might break down, etc.

still not past the early "getting used to" days with my denture. even though i know at night that they were fine, that doesn't stop me from worrying about them through the day. i know distraction is good, but sometimes i just have to worry about them for a few minutes.

i am supposed to go to meet some friends today for lunch but as of right now i just feel too anxious. it means driving on the freeway and possibly in the rain. and then of course the eating which will make me anxious about my denture. but also these are good friends and if the worse possible outcome occurred (my denture coming out), they would be supportive.

the thing about the denture is that it is so integral to activity. eating, talking, drinking, etc all depend on a good fit.

i would appreciate any prayers today. also, i wish people on Facebook would post about their feelings more often, instead of drivel about their kids or restaurants.

I can't help but think you would benefit GREATLY by reading a book called "The Power of Now" by Eckardt Tolle...
I think you would find ideas that would really help to free of your worries about 'all the things that are coming up' ... If your library doesn't have it, to be its worth ordering and keeping and reading and rereading.
