they put in a new phone system at work. it looks like i won't be able to take smoke breaks like i am used to also there are being really strict about when we are at our desks. it's just a mess and this morning i am worried about their unrealistic demands and whether i will be able to comply. yesterday i needed to get up at one point to use the xerox and my boss said OK, as long as it only takes 20-25 seconds. what a load of bullcrap!

in good news i saw the dentist and he showed me how to take the denture out which was giving me lots of problems.

that's all i have to say today.

This is where many people get into trouble - change at work.  Your gut reaction is this is an "unrealistic" plan the company has put into place but with time you will adjust.

I've heard of this book for a long time, thanks for posting the vid, stkitt. This is good advice for many of us.

I hope you feel better, display. I know how stressful work can be, but it is true... The more pro-active we are, the better we feel because we are taking charge of the situation.

to st kitt and anxiety life,

all my fears turned out to be for naught. I talked with my bosses and all the silly stuff I had thought of (like not being able to take bathroom breaks) were just stuff I dreamed up in my anxiety brain.

my sister keeps saying "all will be well" and I'm beginning to believe her.
