Good Morning OBA,Anxiety is more than just a feeling. As a product of the body’s fight-or-flight response, anxiety involves a wide range of physical symptoms. Because of the numerous physical symptoms, anxiety sufferers often mistake their disorder for a medical illness. Headaches are often mentioned by our members as one of their physical symptoms.
I am prone to tension headaches and will feel the pain down into my shoulders. The past 3 weeks I have woke up with a nasty headache as well as feeling a crackling sound when I rotate my head..............I suspect it is summer allergies.
Hydration is a must to keep your bodily fluids regulated. If you have not seen a physician for awhile you may want to have a medical screening exam to rule out any medical reason for the headaches. You will feel better if a Dr. reassures you re what kind of headache your are experiencing.
Remember to be good to yourself and take time for you; breaks when you are studying. Get up and drink a nice 8 oz glass of cool water.
Thinking of you,
