Consciously you may feel like there is no emotional component to your anxiety...
...but our subconscious is aware, even when we are not...at least at a cognitive level.
We are so good at supressing our stress, that we are often unaware just how much it is affecting us, until we have physical symptoms.
My first panick attack happened seemingly out of left field. I was shocked that it could happen to me!! I did not know that I had that amount of stress that I was dealing with.
Have you ever heard of the frog in the pot of boiling water analogy? Things just gradually keep getting 'hotter'...and we naturally adjust.
Or at least think we are, until it anxiety manifests itself physically.
What are you able to do currently for your anxiety management plan?
Keep posting, we are here to understand and support!
