Sinus vs Migrane

I have read a few people's posts about having ongoing sudden migranes and those who have sinus problems. I just saw my doctor this afternoon and told her I've been having off and on painful headaches on the left side of my head. Due to my chronic sinus problems and the fact that the pain is in my upper sinus and more on the left side, she thinks that's what it is. She's having me get a CT scan of my sinus and go from there. How can you tell sinus vs tension vs migrane??

It can be hard to tell when it comes to these symptoms! The fullness and pressure of sinus...along with the dizzyness, pain ect...can all be confused with migrains symptoms.

It is even possible that your sinus issues are triggering migraines, so it is good that your doctor is working with you to clear this all up.
