Hi Smgandy and welcome!
I am sorry that I missed your original post, as I was out of town.
I can certainly relate. I too struggled with health anxiety for some time. I know how difficult this can be...especially when you are just wanting to enjoy time with your little one.
There is however, help and hope!
Here are some links that I think you will find help and comfort in. They are specifically dealing with fears regarding health, and could help to give you information and practical methods of managing your fears.

We have other great ideas such as book recommendations and other coping skills for A/P in our Resources...so be sure to check these out at the top of our main page here.
The more info and tools you have for deaing with the issues that challenge you, the better you can feel! Putting these skills into practice daily can make a huge difference.
Talking to your doctor about other treatment options as well is a great move. When your insurance comes through, therapy is something to consider for reaching your long-term goals...and your doctor could make a good referral for you. Until then, like I mentioned...see our Resources...there are free on-line therapy options there!
Keep talking with us as well. We understand, care and are here to help anytime.:)
