Another benzo question-sorry

I have been on Ativan regularly (every 6-8 hours) for about 3 weeks now. It seems to only be working for 3-4 hours at a time now and I am getting a lot of breakthrough anxiety between doses. Would Klonopin be a better choice? Any advice?

Ativan normally last longer than that I know it does with me, I
guess it depends on the strength, I know that Xanax and Ativan
work faster than the other benzos, Peace.

Lmazy,

Klonopin has a longer half life, and as such stays in the system longer than Ativan.

However, you would need to talk this over with your doctor to see if this would be a good choice for you, and whether it is safe for taking long term/on a regular basis.
