Hi Pepper and welcome!
I am sorry to hear that you are currently dealing with anxiety and what sounds like its symptoms.
If your doctor does determine that you are experiencing anxiety, then there are a few things that you can discuss as far as treatment options...so good job on getting that appointment!
You say you saw someone for your previous depression issues? Was that in the form of therapy? It is not unusual for anxiety and depression to morph, or co-exist...so chances are, you could benefit from seeking counseling/therapy again...this time for the anxiety. You can discuss a referral from your doctor if need be.
Another route some people need/choose is to consider medication for management of their anxiety...
...or a combination of both therapy and meds is a winning one for many A/P sufferers.
For now, here is the link to our
