Has anyone had any experience with this? I started taking it a few weeks ago. The same time this nervousness began. I am wondering if there is a connection. I am going to stop taking it and see if anything changes. It is supposed to relax you but I have had opposite reactions to medications in the past. This wouldn't be the first time. My anxiety levels are down. I have been on Paxil and Lamictal for a month. I am back to work and even a room full of squirmy 7th Graders doesn't bother me.

Could be that! I've never taken it before, but I have had the shakiness from other supplements before. It's worth a shot to stop taking it. Glad to hear your anxiety levels are down!

CD,
I have taken this in the past. I did not notice any adverse effects, but everyone reacts differently of course.
I believe that it is a green tea derivitive, so there could be a chance you are sensitive to something in the plant? Are you taking large amounts? If so, it could be the natural caffeine that is present?
I really don't know...but it is worth looking into to.

I stopped taking L-Theanine two days ago and the shakiness is GONE. I still have slight anxiety but I am working on that.

Interesting! I guess this was just an unexpected side effect for you...and how your body reacted to the suppliment.
Glad that you found the answer!! I hope that today is a good one for you...at least you won't be shaking!! :)

Machine sewing but the cutting and pinning is much easier without shaking.
