Does this sound like allergies? Tinnitus? Anxiety?

For the past few days I've had a few moments where I felt like there was a high pitched sound in my head. It was more a sensation than a sound though. Almost like the pitch was just too high for my ears to hear it but I felt it. I'm an over worrier about stuff like that. Being on klonopin I worry about seizures. I probably wouldn't so much if I didn't watch my husband have a seizure in public a few years ago with no known cause.

Anyway, any idea what thins could be?

This is just probably a normal auditory random event...I have them on and off...

If this is persistent and new for you however, it wouldn't hurt to run it by your doctor and get your ears checked.

I once had a middle ear infection that was accompanied by a sound that I was feeling more than hearing, like you described. No pain...the sound was the first symptom...so it might not be a bad idea to go in if this continues.

This does not sound seizure related at all...and if you are taking your benzo as prescribed, you need not fear any adverse effects.

It is probably tinnitus....I've had it on and off for years. i refer to it as a "buzzing" in my ears, for lack of a better description. It can really get on your nerves at times. It can be caused by certain medications or just a condition that's hereditary or possibly blood pressure. They apparently have medications for the condition now although I've never tried them and don't really want to. I just wait for it to pass or turn on loud music to drown it out when it gets really bad. For me, I seem to get it the most when I've taken alot of aspirin for my arthritis.

So I have an ear infection.. So I guess that solves that mystery.

I don't know if it's anxiety or what but I always seem to notice illnesses right when they start. I'm so sensitive to any and every little change in my body. Before I had anxiety I wouldn't go to the doctor for an ear infection until it was hurting like crazy and my ear was swollen.

Lol how times have changed.

Yep...just like I described it, right? Same experience!

Well take your abx and get well soon!! Hopefully this will be knocked out quickly, and you'll be feeling yourself again in a couple of days.:)
