i am just a wreck about my trip to London next week. can't stop thinking about all the things that go wrong. angry that I have all this anxiety - like I'm not going to be able to enjoy the trip. perhaps it will be better once I get there?

I notice that I feel I have to do everything alone. like I can't ask for help. I'm sure there will be people along the way that will be willing to help, if I will just ask and not try and do everything on my own - which is one of my worst personality traits.

I will get a map and I've started using the transport website to map out my journeys. I'm also going to designate one day to not going anywhere, just hanging around the neighborhood where my flat is.

just needed to check in about this because it is driving me NUTS this morning.

Hmmmmmm........... Everyone I know would love the chance to go to London, so count yourself a lucky man. I can definitely understand the challenges though, especially with all of the uncertainties. But like you said yourself, you can ask people for help. And you'll get to hear all of those fun accents. But watch out not to ask one of those red shirted tall black cap people for directions, I don't think they're supposed to talk to you. In which case, you would not find where you need to go. Lol. You'll be alright, deep breaths, enjoy your trip!
