I've been sick for about 5 weeks now. It started with some virus or something from my son's school. He and I were both sick. Got a little better, then got super achy and weak about a week later. Developed a cough 2 weeks ago. Went to the Dr., looked like it could be bacterial, so she put me on antibiotics. Finished those on Friday. Middle of last week, I started to get SUPER congested. Now, my cheek and teeth hurt (probably sinusitis) and I can't smell AT ALL, even though I can breathe a little. I still have a cough too. I'm tired and just don't feel well.
This is making me crazy. I hate having all of these symptoms that give me anxiety. Why would a respiratory thing turn into a sinus infection? I feel like I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. I knew I shouldn't have taken them. I am super sensitive to everything. I hope that by the end of the week it is gone. That is how long it should take for the abx to clear my system.
Then when I chased my son up the stairs, my heart was pounding so hard and my legs got weak. Of course, instead of chalking it up to having been sick for weeks, I figure I'm having a heart attack. Then my brain gets all fuzzy and I start to feel like I'm going to faint. Then I figure that something is really wrong with me. Never mind the fact that my son is still coughing too, so most likely we have the same thing and I'm still just recovering. Seriously can't take much more of this.
Thanks for reading this and letting me whine a little.
