Sorry for my absence!!

Hello family,

I want to say I'm sorry for not being "present" during the last couple days. We had a trajedy in the family. My wife's brother (my brother in law) passed away Tuesday. He was in a car wreck. His name was Matthew Galloway of Crown City, Ohio. His obituary should be in the newspaper (and online) tomorrow. He was only 41.

He and his family lived just down the street from me. We were very close. He was one of the best mechanics and body man in the area. I will forever miss him!

I will probably be absent for a couple more days as I help support my wife and her family! You guys are always on my mind, though!

Cornell... my deepest sympathies are with you and your wife and all family members, friends and other loved ones.

........This is simply devastating.......

Sorry...I was at work when I posted, so had to make it quick before starting classes...

I have more time now...so want to ask how you are holding up? Are YOU alright?

He was your brother as well...and I am sure that your grief is great.

When we are ourselves grieving ...yet must also show strength and be a support for others...as you are for your wife and family...

...it can understandably leave us feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin and with low reserves for managing our anxiety.

I encourage you to really rely on your coping skills right now to get you through. Take time to breathe, pray, journal, cry...anything that helps you through these rough first days/weeks.

Love to your family.

We are here for you...supporting in thought and prayer.
