My oldest sister told me this today... We had a wonderful & fun time shopping together today.
She stopped at our home to visit before she left. I started having that depersonalization/Derealization feeling after shopping. Instead of feeling alone with it, I said "I sure hate this feeling" & described it to she & my hubby. They kinda poked fun of me (which I was totally ok with bc both are understanding & humor is used quite often for everything). I said I'm so over this years weirdness & my struggles & sis said "you're the most normal person I know!"
Isn't it funny- we feel so alone & on the verge of insanity somedays & yet, we really ARE "normal." Granted my sister didn't see me pacing my home at 5 in the morning all summer but even then, I think she'd say "whatever works." She's a physician and has seen a lot so I should probably take this tidbit and soak it in LOL.
With that being said, I just want to tell everyone who's reading this that I think & KNOW you're normal despite your circumstances, thoughts or the way you look.
We are good people with caring hearts (and creative minds
). I appreciate you all & this forum bringing us together.
Sending much peace & love to you all-
Lisa
