I hope everyone has had a nice Thanksgiving holiday...mine was pretty nice up until last night when I woke up with pain in my left arm and shoulder. When I got up this morning the pain was gone but just felt on edge all day, the fact that it's Sunday didn't help. Then an hour ago I was just sitting on the couch with my fiancé watching a movie and suddenly got a stabbing pain in the left side of my chest so of course I am freaking out now.
I've been having back pain and chest pain on and off again for several weeks, I don't know if the two are related, I guess they could very well be. I've been reading about something called "Costochodritis" and wondering if I have it, wondering if that would explain the chest pain. Even if I lean forward sometimes it hurts. I took my blood pressure earlier and it was normal, my pulse was a little higher than usual but didn't seem out of the ordinary. I saw my doctor on Tuesday, he checked me out and said everything was normal. I did tell him about the chest pain and he thinks it's definitely the anxiety but recommended a cardiologist that I can see for some peace of mind. He is really such a sweet man and even though he thinks it's the anxiety causing all these symptoms I appreciate that he's listening to me and not brushing my off like other doctors have done.
As I'm writing this got another stabbing pain.
