I fully agree with S.C. and I have personal experience to back that up as well. I've been on multiple A/D meds since around the 1990's, and earlier. Some of them just weren't the right med for me. I eventually found the right one, -- for me, -- and it wasn't the first med I tried. And, it took some getting used to.
Add into that the importance of self-help and coping skills, eating healthfully, exercise, hydration,....and attitude. Knowing the 'answer' doesn't reside exclusively in any medication, but in a healthy balance which includes your lifestyle. When I accepted that too, made a world of difference.
To top it off, I'm very happy with my meds and my choices now! :)
