i dreamed someone was trying to strangle me with the c-pap tubing. then i had dreamed that mum had died and was in spirit on her couch, i was there, and i could see her. i could feel her, but it was different. i said is it sudden mum. she said i am here with the dogs and all at peace. 2.30am, and a bit tripped out. i DO NOT like dreams of this nature, premenition dreams, for mine come true.

Do you usually have dreams of premonition? I do sometimes too but wonder if subconsciously I know something and it comes out in my dream.

Maybe some good music would calm you down and brighten your spirits.

Oh gosh, HT, I'm sorry you had those dreams. Those would be disturbing for me too. I'm sure the part about your c-pap is because it's on your mind so much. That happens to me when things are really on my mind. They show up in my dreams. I hope you're able to unwind and relax a bit.

I'm sorry those dreams are a bother to you right now. When I was taking Seroquel, I would get the most vivid and realistic dreams. It was really scary.

Oh man, those were bad ones huh? :(

I have trouble shaking bad dreams such as you had...sometimes they even follow me around the next day, leaving me feeling uneasy.

I hope that getting them out in writing here helped somewhat in diffusing their effect.

They are scary dreams! I feel like I get premonitions too so when I have dreams like that I get scared and think they will come true too. However-they don't always. Wishing you all the best. May only your happiest dreams come true and may you have some of those sweet dreams tonight. Sending warm, healing thoughts your way.

thanks for the comforting words my dear friends. all will be well. just a bit of a phase thing with my over active mind. i guess it trying to process stuff, but the nightmares are freaking me a bit. i am super depressed at the moment. have not been out in awhile. got shrink next friday. thanks guys.

Oh, good. So glad you did.
Raining here with bits of snow....waiting for the boys to wake up so I can start laundry. Did get the bathroom mopped though. Would have done more but the shoulder gave out. Hope your day goes well.

So sorry to hear about your bad night HT. I get some horrible dreams too, it's probably the thing that affects me the most :(

I think dreams can definitely be related to our worries and anxieties sometimes. I had a dream last night that I had to take my son to juvenile hall to report for his "sentence" I let him drive and he suddenly decided he was not going to be separated from his family and not going. He floored it and I had to grab the wheel to keep him from running us into a building or other stationary object. We hit and flipped, but survived and he reported, though angry with me for intervening. REALLY WEIRD considering he's almost 23, has a good job, fiancé, baby, and is doing well and in no legal trouble at all. I truly believe stress can mess with our subconscious and give us bizarre dreams that we still remember when we wake up. They can be upsetting and seem real but cease once our stress and anxiety calm down.
