Still in shock about
my grandma's diagnosis. we always called her a medical miracle because after years of unhealthy eating (the woman loves her bacon) and smoking, she remained relatively healthy. Until now. It has caught up with her as stage 4 metastatic lung cancer invades her body. They may radiate the tumor to make her more comfortable and to make breathing a bit easier for the time being, but essentially it is a grim sentence. you don't believe these things actually happen until they do, and then you're left with a pit in your stomach and tears in your eyes.
Thank you again for all of your support.

The weight of this is so much to carry. My heart is heavy for you guys... :( Such a disheartening diagnosis. I'm not sure whether to encourage you or just cry along with you. My heart goes out to you and your family. :( :( Stand strong...... <3

You can't understand it until you live it. The pit is constant.

I may take a cut in some classes and go down to 3 instead of 5... My grandfather cannot take care of himself, and when my grandmother does pass, it will be a balancing act between the family of who can take care of him before permanent help is hired. We want to make sure to find the right person.
This hurts so much. When I lost my dad's parents to cancer I was young and didn't understand. Now that I'm obviously old enough to grasp the gravity of the situation, it's eating at me.
Trying to stay strong for my mom, and you all make it easier.

Blu's,
Wishing you wisdom in making the decision regarding your school schedule. I know this is a difficult situation all around, and managing your time adds to the challenge.
Thoughts and prayers.
