Ear issues and anxiety definitely have some sort of connection...what exactly I don't know, but I have read enough about ear symptoms to dispute it. So, yeah...I am willing to bet yours is anxiety related.
Glad to hear that you will get to explore both EMDR and CBT! Some professionals are still on the fence about EMDR, but I think that, like many treatments, it is subjective...so you'll just need to try and see if it is for you!
I like the idea of getting to do both and at least see what is the most beneficial!
Best wishes on getting out and exercising. Do something that is fun and distracts you away from the physical sensations that trigger your anxiety. Use your music, or get a walking buddy, take a dance class...or other type of group activity if that sounds fun.:)
