Just started Bupropion xl 300 mg today. Any reviews or experiences??

Took my first pill at around 7 and was just wondering how it makes you feel, when it kicks in, or what to expect from whoever has taken this. I have tried other meds before but they haven't worked....I'm always very nervous to start new medications due to my health anxiety about side effects and allergic reactions so my anxiety is flaring up pretty badly right now and am scaring myself. I know I'll be ok, I would just appreciate it so much if you guys have any stories about it helping. I am also on xanax on an as needed basis but I've been taking it everyday. It's been a rough week... Thanks for your time, support and feedback!

I have never taken Buspar but I know a lot of people who have and have had good success with it so I hope it works well for you. It can be a difficult time when starting a new medication and it is normal for your anxiety to increase before it gets better once you have adjusted to the new medication.

I believe the commenters are confusing bupropion (Wellbutrin) with buspirone (Buspar).

These are two very different drugs. The op is asking about bupropion, not buspirone. Sorry, I have had very limited experience with bupropion as I could not sleep and quit taking it after a couple of weeks.
