Thoughts?

Having a pretty good day so far. But not sure what to think about this. Last week I convinced the doc to test my Thyroid. So monday night I had the labs done. Complete lab work, as I was only tested for TSH, T3 and T4 previuosly and was borderline. Well, about an hour ago the docs office called and he wants to see me next week about my labs. I told them the week after, because I cant afford to take more time off work til then. My doc has NEVER called to go over labs before. Im thinking he found something. Which im not going to worry about, as I pressured him into testing the Thyroid cause the previous results, though limited, were not inline with what I was reading. He also tested for Vit D and testosterone.

I guess theres a possibility that he did not find anything. But im curious, what do you think? He knows of my anxiety, I dont think he would have asked me to come in if it was nothing, knowing it would make me think. Thoughts?

Thyroid, testosterone and vitamin D? I've been researching Cushings Disease because of my daughter, you might want to check out the symptoms list. There isn't a forum for it here but, plenty of links on the web. I was surprised to see anxiety and panic disorder on the list of symptoms.

I requested my thyroid tested when my anxious bout began too!! My results were all wacky. My tsh was low but my free count was okay. They texted me a couple more times throughout the summer and I finally got back within limits about 2 months later. I also had a thyroid ultrasound that showed an enlarged thyroid and a couple of small nodules. It's funny because when my thyroid numbers started evening out is when my anxiety started to even out too.

trader- I know test results are scary, but it they found something with your thyroid that would be good. Well, not GOOD, but something that might give you some answers and be very treatable. Hoping the best for you!
