I had my appt with the cardiologist yesterday. It went pretty well. It wasn't the "you're fine, get out of here" that I expected, but it wasn't bad either. He wanted to do another Holter on me to make sure my PVCs haven't increased. I'm wearing it now. He said my last one showed 2-3% of my total beats were PVCs and that is ok. He wants to make sure they haven't increased to over 15%.
He asked if I exercise and I said no, I am afraid to because of the PVCs and increased heart rate. He said "so". LOL...he's a little no-nonsense. He said don't take your pulse, I'm not worried about how high your heart rate goes. So, I guess I need to get back on the treadmill.
He said I might have inappropriate sinus tachycardia, but that there isn't much they will do to treat it anyway, so exercise is the best thing to do because it will reduce my heart rate and probably make me feel better.
So, not bad, but not the super reassuring appt I was hoping for. Fingers crossed that they Holter results come back good.
