Riding the old anxiety wave again...
I was having a pretty good week, no real setbacks for a while, and then today happened. Felt fine this morning, but while at work I started feeling those weird bouts of lightheaded/dizziness. They come out of nowhere and last about a second before the disappear. Those I'm somewhat used to by now. Throughout the day I started having some chest pains too, each one in seemingly a different spot. These usually only last a few seconds as well before they disappear. Got home, got to spend a couple hours with my fiance before she took off to work at ten.
After she left I decided to lay in bed for the evening to try and relax. While browsing around on the internet, I had one of those terrifying (at least to me) feelings that feel like getting punched in the chest; also get a feeling of I'm gonna pass out when these happen. They last a second or two, but they usually set me off in a bad way in terms of freaking out. So now I find myself wanting to call 911 (roads are way to crappy for me to go to the hospital)...I haven't been this bad off in a while. I'm tempted to take an Ativan (my first one) but scared at the same time.
As a reminder, in the past 4-5 months, I've had EKGs, Xrays, blood work, stress ekg, one ER visit, and nothing was flagged. On my last physical (about a month ago) my blood pressure was kinda high, but he said it was probably due to me worrying (white coat syndrome).
Needless to say, I'm looking for a little reassurance if that's possible. Sorry, I know I sound like a broken record, but that's the way it goes.
