just found out my beautiful baby sister has cancer

I have been waiting on some news regarding my little sister who is 40 she just found out she has cancer in her liver that Has come from someplace else. I need your prayers please she has two young boys and I don't know what to do. I am beside myself

Oh H.N. I am so sorry.

There just are no words. I can't imagine how devastated you are to get this news.

I am sending prayers for her, you and the entire family.

It is my hope that she can get the treatment that she needs and beat this. That will be my specific and daily prayer for her.

Post as much as you need to for support during this time. We are here and surround you with care a compassion now.

Oh Hazel, my heart aches for you! I hope that they've caught it in time so that she can fight it with everything she's got.

thanks guys what sucks is if she comes up here tomorrow to start treatment I can't even see her because I've been sick. I've had a stomach virus since last night with no fever since I found out I have a low grade fever I don't understand and the first thing out of my work when I told them was you know you've used all your sick days you have to use vacation if you're not here tomorrow Wow

Hazel, my son in law has this, it also came from somewhere else, he went through the surgery fine and the
chemo, not given the cure word yet but it has stopped growing and he has gone back to work, Peace

larry that is so inspiring to hear. i'm just so worried for results of petscan. hoping it's not pancreatic.

where else was his cancer larry? i guess liver metastatic is stage iv which sounds scary but maybe there's hope. her son's 16th bday is next week so we are planning a big party. i hope we can all hold the tears. will be difficult.

hazel, I'm so sorry about this news. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how difficult it is that you can't see her right now, but take care of you and you'll be able to very soon. She knows you love her and care. I know it's much easier said than done, but try not to concern yourself with the attitude at your job. Family and your health come first, period. Hang in there. Hugs to you!

Prayers in regards to the PET, results, prognosis, treatment choices, and all!

This is without a doubt one of the most difficult things to see a loved one go through. My heart goes out to you, and I am sending much strength, encouragement and courage for you, your sister and the whole family.

Hazel, liver, and lungs, it started in the colon, he was very advanced, the meds we have today are a
gift from God, be at peace and think positive, You both are in my Prayers!
