Doc increase zoloft

Doctor increased Zoloft to 150. Since om still having some bad days. Instead of taking it at bed time he wants me to take it in morning because my afternoons are so bad. Wondering what will happen with taking it at different time now? Thinking positive.

BWBW,

I hope that your switch in dosage timing and increase will be just what you need in terms of relief!!

Sounds like taking your Rx in the morning will give you the coverage that you need in the afternoon...since your med concentration will be at a higher point, rather than waning from the night before at the time you need it most.:)

Sounds like a plan...

Give it some time to level, settle and adjust as always with a change in Rx regimen!

I hope that the increase works for you. Sometimes we need a little adjustment in our meds and it works out for the best.

zoloft should always be taken in am.

Oh really why is that ? I have always taken it at bedtime. Does it work better in the a.m.?

Hey barb ,
How much did you start on ? I forgot , I'm still on 25 mg and it's been 5 weeks now I see HUGE improvemt but still have anxiety, Im thinking to Maybe go up to 50 I'm not sure yet though ,
One question form you ?? ,,
Did you get headaches as a sifeeffect ? I started to get headChes when I began zoloft and they are almost daily , but it's not too severe as far as pain goes .
But I take mine in theAM ALSO , hopefully the increase will help you to feel better :)!

I hope the increase helps you.

You should not have to many problems switching from pm to am I have done that change in the past and had no problems.

Bro Chill...i had same doubt ...i wanted to change time of my medicine from night to afternoon..i ask my pdoc and he said after taking medicne for few days it doent matter at what time you take it because medicine remains in system throughout the day. But please do not try to change the dosage time on daily basis.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the advice.

Rn i started at 50mg now upped to 150. Seeing some improvements. At first had a few headaches but not much. Hope if you increase it helps with your anxiety.
