Well, still no answers... BUT nothing is worse, so that's good.
The Lyme doctor feels that I do not have Lyme. She explained that the positive level of m. pneumoniae is something pretty much everyone has (if they've ever had bronchitis or sinus infections, etc.).
The MRIs were done and the c-spine MRI was normal. The brain MRI shows no change (still a small "spot"/lesion in the right frontal area).
The neurologist says we'll do a follow-up again in 6 months.
So, that's it! I don't know what else to do now other than try to make healthy choices and continue going to therapy, meditating, doing yoga, and taking Xanax as needed...
I wish I had answers, but I'm glad that I wasn't given a diagnosis of MS or tumor or anything else...
I really appreciate everyone on this forum that has been supportive and given me advice and validated my feelings. It means a lot!
I'm still scared, but I'm trying to manage it as best as I can.
