Just venting again!

EXCUSE me but I am so ****** pissed at the moment. I am STILL having problems with my mouth...because of the dental problems.

My mouth (tongue) , lips, and skin on my face is irritated, and hurts. I am doing my ****** BEST to heal but NOTHING is working. When I eat, my mouth and tongue hurts! My mouth tastes like metal.
It is like battery in my mouth and I get these electric shocks in my mouth. Well it's basically there 24 hours a day! I need another metal filling removed and unless it's removed I am going to have to stay in HELL! Does anyone understand at all how painful and stressful it is to have dental problems? DOES ANYONE?

I have looked for dental support forums online and I can't find any really active ones with supportive people. It's very frustrating when no one really understands. This problem I am having at the moment is seriously ruining my meals and my everyday life! I am so pissed that I have to suffer from a stupid dental filling. It's just ONE annoying filling that is causing this!

This is actually the second time this has happened to me. My dentist drills my tooth, places a filling in it, and after a week or two, I get a ****** reaction from it and my mouth is sore again! Nothing is wrong with the filling. None of his patients have had a reaction to any filling that was placed at his dentist office. So WHY on earth am I suffering? I am seeing a specialist in a few days but I really needed to vent!

Anyway, thanks for listening! I know no one can actually 'fix' my problem but I am so fed up with this I had to vent again!

You are smart to have all the metals removed from your mouth.
Yes, I read about tooth colored fillings (porcelain or composites) not lasting long. That is why I have been hesitant about getting them. I do have grinding problems and metal is the only filling type that can withstand the strong biting force. I am certainly going to get a second opinion on this. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you Steve. No, no one in my family has had metal allergy.
I've had metal fillings in my mouth before...they were old and I had no problems with them.
But after I had an amalgam removed and replaced with gold fillings, it all started. Gold fillings aren't 100% gold. (they are about 70% gold with alloys in them..like copper, silver, palladium, zinc..etc.) So it is possible for someone to get metal allergy from it. The problem with metal dental filling allergies is that the symptoms appear in places like arms, hands, and feet, not in the mouth. Many don't realize it's the tooth filling that is causing their skin problems. I do have a friend who had a few amalgam fillings replaced with white composites and her rashes disappeared.
