A little worried about a symptom

Well yeah, I can usually tell the difference between the good old muscle pain and other things, this sensation I feel is a bit different as I've never experienced something like this before.

It's a needle stinging type of feeling under my right rib so I am having disturbing thoughts like it is something bad related to liver. It is not like 24 times a day, but I have it everyday for a week now. It is never a severe pain but if feels like something stinging there, when it does. For a few seconds only.

I really don't know how to describe it. It is quite strange feeling. Anyone experienced something like this?
I am really trying my best not to search on internet :/

Is it like a pin pricking type pain. If so, that's a nerve pinched in you rib cage, try not to touch the area as that will make it worse.

Yes it is exactly how it feels :O It is definitely not like an ache or ongoing pain...

Though, I have been feeling this for 7-8 days now... Isn't it a bit long for a pinched nerve?

Sorry to hear you are having rib pain I suffer with that and it's due to my bad back.

If it's not better in a couple of days I would go and see your doctor to get checked out as it could be a pinched nerve.

I hope you feel better soon.

This may seem random, but are you constipated at all? I've had stabbing pains there before which I know isn't really what you described, but for me it's turned out to be trapped gas and the pain goes away after a BM.

I was going to suggest the same as Park!

It is pretty unbelievable how gastro stuff can present...

...and was going to ask about your, erm, regularity lately...aaahhhh so personal I know...;p

I hope that it just goes away as quickly as it appeared. I have had random pains come and go.

Well, umm ahem, my bm is lately a bit weird so... both soft and hard.
But I am really not sure why this sensation happens. As far as I know, no serious issue there in liver/gallbladder makes this kind of feeling. They basically do at least some medium degree pain.
I have nothing sort.

It's just this, like pressure. And also a bit burning. And also I hear deep gurgling sound from same area.
I wonder if I irritated the area because I was touching there to feel it a bit a lot lately.

Anyways, if it doesn't go away, I will just visit dr.

*happily eats the fiber chocolate bar* :D
