annyone deal w thyroid problems and pvcs? ugh

so I just had my TSH checked and tsh
was 1.79 I have been having a lot of PVC heartbeats recently but also been under a ton of stress. my TSH a month and a half ago was 3.3 I had a feeling it had dropped I take 75 milligrams of synthroid now I'm wondering if I should lower it and see if that helps. I hate those skippy heartbeats!

mine has always been around 3 to 4 so I'm wondering if this 1.7 is too low for me. because I'm also felt nervous and More anxious lately.

Have you had a wacky thyroid for long? Or is this something new? When my anxious bout started in April, I requested my GP to do a thyroid test and my tsh was .3! Then I took the test again two weeks later and it was even lower at a .26. After getting an ultrasound and finding out that I have a slightly large thyroid and a couple of little nodules, my doctor wanted to "wait it out" to see if I leveled out. Sure enough, I took another test in August (when I started slightly feeling better) and I was within the range at .79.

How it was explained to me was that the thyroid levels are always fluctuating. I'm not really sure how long doctors wait to see if things level off before prescribing medication. Seems like it would be hard to tell if your levels go down/up to adjust the medication accordingly. Like you would constantly have to have your blood tested.

Sorry I haven't been much help. I'm super curious about this stuff too.

Hazel, I saw your post on the thyroid forum and wanted to comment but I was feeling down myself today. Saw it here too, so I thought maybe I should reply.

75 is a small/normal dose, most likely wouldnt cause folks to have the symptoms you are having, everything else being equal. I have to ask, do you know your T3 levels? If your T3 levels are high you will have these symptoms.

Without the basic thyroid levels(T4 and T3) stating your thyroid is causing your symptoms is just a guess.

Probably wouldnt be a bad idea tho to call your doc and ask to be lowered for a bit to see how you feel. See what he/she says. Good luck!

my free t4 is 1.1 and my free t3 is 2.7 I need to study up on this more I still don't get those

T4 should be middle range and T3 upper 2/3 to 3/4. Not sure what your ranges are for each but it doesnt sound too high to me. TSH is pituitary gland and wont specifically tell you if youre turning hyper and having symptoms. Id ask your doc, wont hurt and they might be able to explain more to you. Personally I dont believe pvc's are coming from your thyroid, but again it never hurts to ask your doc. Good luck!
