Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing alright.
I haven't been around much over the past few weeks. I wouldn't say I've been hiding but I just have been busy, and for the most part, doing pretty well anxiety wise.
Some things to catch you up on: Had my consultation with sleep doc since my second sleep study. He wants me to try sleeping on my side (and also lose a little weight) and come back in three months. No CPAP yet, so I'm kinda thankful.
Shortly after that, my fiancee and I met her brother for lunch, which was great. Afterwards, we browsed through the Container Store...and that wasn't so great. After walking around for a few minutes, I felt dizzy. I also started feeling a pulsating pain in my right side. If I had to describe where, I'd say put your finger to the bottom of your breastbone, then slide it straight right to the edge of ribcage (I'd say where highest abdominal muscle is). At least that's where I'm remembering it is, which looking back, isn't as bad, but at the time, I thought "Welp, this is it." Needless to say it wasn't, and it passed in probably under 30-60 seconds, but scared me. Exacerbating this was the fact that when I reached in my pocket for my Ativan, I realized I had left it at home.
Again, like I mentioned, it passed, but I took my first benzo ever when I did get home. I don't really know if it did anything (1 mg), as I felt pretty normal, no drowsiness or anything. I plan on trying to get in to my doc's this week sometime just to get a normal blood test (troponin); that way if it shows nothing bad I think I'll finally be reassured.
I guess I do have a question for anyone with experience in the matter...I took one Ativan yesterday afternoon, I'd say at about 4:30 PM. Would wine later this evening be a bad idea? Doctor had told me previously not to take the two together, but seeing as this will be about 30 hours afterwards, would it still be a problem?
