Awful morning

Unfortunately, it's been a really terrible morning. I got to work and started feeling really off. I have been feeling off for a couple of months now, but this morning it's been like intensified x 10. I have been really light headed and sure of passing out and my left arm feels like it's being lightly squeezed from the inside. like when they pump up a blood pressure cuff, but not that hard. Hands and feet are cold and were sweaty. I was going to head to the ER and decided to take an Ativan instead. I'm sitting here feeling drained. Where do you draw the line between anxiety and something being wrong???

Hi MSP,

I am pretty confident that your Rx will help to take the edge off most (if not all) of your symptoms.

If they don't lessen, or intensify, then you may want to call your doctor for advice on what to do next.

I do hope however, that the benzo will put an end to the rough start of today...

...and that you get the relief that you need, and can go on to enjoy a peaceful Easter Weekend!

Do you have plans with family? Seeing any grands?

Thanks SC. The Ativan helped. That and the breathing exercises I was doing at the same time. I just feel tired now. I will see my youngest grandson tomorrow evening and my son and his fiancé Sunday afternoon so looking forward to that.

I'm glad the ativan helped along with the breathing. Great News!! Awesome on seeing your grandson tomorrow. We are having a easter egg hunt for my grandson tomorrow, will for sure be a blast. We kind of over did it on the eggs and have over 50 of them, just for 1 kid lol.

Angel, I remember those days with my kids when they were little. The lesson learned after a couple of smelly surprises was it's fun to have lots of eggs, but be sure to count how many you hide so you know you have them all back when it's finished. LOL!

LOL, No worries they are all plastic eggs, we will make some hard boiled eggs for deviled eggs for dinner for sunday, but I learned when my boys were little not to hide real eggs. You forget just one and you smell it forever, lol.

I just want to go crawl in a corner and cry. I was doing better earlier, then a co-worker and I were at lunch. She does really good massages and I asked her if she'd massage my neck and shoulders a bit. She started and said "OMG!" because I'm so tight. She found a knot just to the left of my spine and when she started massaging it, I got really light headed so she stopped. That scared me. I got all uptight again and the tightness in my arms came back which made me more uptight. I drank some water, and now I've got the pounding heart going. UGH! I just want to go lay down and sleep til this goes away ;(

I'm so sorry panda. You are probably home by now, I hope you are doing better now. Sorry you had a rough day, but now that you are home go ahead and cry if you still feel the need too. There is nothing wrong with crying, it cleans the soul as my grandma used to say. I usually feel better after a good cry. :) Hope you are doing better, though and don't need to cry.

I tried the youtube mindful meditation videos earlier today and OMG I felt so much better afterward.
I stuck it in my favorite places and plan to watch them every night before bed.

I hope you are feeling a bit better today?

Look into Mindfulness Meditation as that is really helpful and you will find a lot of good videos on youtube.
