I went to the emergency room today because I had intense pain in both sides right under my ribcage that didn't go away after taking Advil. I thought it was my gallbladder…the doctor who saw me said my gallbladder is distended, has sludge and stones in it, but wasn't active…he still suggested I take it out so I'm having it out Friday…my anxiety was bad when I was in pain and now my anxiety is bad thinking this pain is from something else and that surgery won't solve it. Please keep me in your prayers and send good vibes. Thank you.

Prayers being sent, Now calm down and breathe, you are totally ahead of yourself. Instead of saying it won't work, try saying it WILL work. I'm sorry you need to have the surgery, but I have faith that it will help you. :)

Had mine out 30 years ago when it was the big slash across your abdomen to get it out- now they do it laproscopically and I hear it's a breeze. Gall bladder pain is bad and can make you feel very ill.

It definitely sounds like gallbladder to me! I suffered from gallbladder attacks for years. Ugh so painful! I finally had mine removed 4 years ago and I'm so happy I did!!! Haven't had any problems since then! Trust your Doctor and his diagnosis. Sounds like classic GB symptoms. You'll do fine!

Mam sometimes they do GB as outpaitent or over night, but this one is a cakewalk as surgery go's, you will
be on the mend in 24 hours, You also get our combined Prayers. Peace

You are going to feel so much better once you have your procedure!!

Like the others said...the new surgery is so easy. My step dad just had it a few months ago at age 79...and did great! Easy recovery...

...and the digestive and abdominal pain he had suffered with for months (if not years) is so improved.:)

He too was told his GB was not in too bad a shape...and when they went in, it was actually at a critical state, so it is good that you are getting this done soon.

Sometimes they don't know the extent of the issue until the procedure.

This is surely what has been causing your pain, and like I said, will be feeling so much relief soon.;)
