Friday I get my gallbladder out. After my last attack a couple days ago my anxiety went haywire and my back is kinda stiff from it. My legs are a little achey too. My muscle aches make me more anxious..I'm just hoping it goes well. My whole body seems tight and its annoying. Its really hard for me to relax lately so I know it does take a toll on my muscles. I'll keep you guys updated. =]

Hey KB,

Like I posted before...my dad who is 79 just went through this a couple of months back, and did great...so will you!

It is natural to be nervous before a procedure...but if you find your anxiety becoming unmanageable...asking your surgical team about a 'pre-procedure anti-anxiety Rx' may be worth the inquiry.

We are here for you through this! Keep posting and we will keep you encouraged.:)

I read your posts out of order! I've had this surgery and it was a pretty quick recovery. I know it will go well and you will feel better. You may have to adjust your diet afterward as different foods tend to cause diarrhea after removal. I will continue to pray for you, and now can be more specific since I know what the surgery will be! All the best to you!
