Yes I get this, I'm a hot sleeper and sleep with just a very thin wore out blanket, but I still wake up sweating. I also wake up in full anxiety mode, with heart racing so you are not alone. Please try to watch a mindfulness video when this happens, it will bring you back to the here and now and bring you peace. We have 2 in our resources, a 3 minute video and a 12 minute video on physical symptoms, both are really good. Or you could go to youtube and just search for mindfulness and get a thousand of them. They really do help a great deal, I'm in a anxiety group on Fridays that is using mindfulness and when I get to class my anxiety level can be a 5 or a 6 and after we start group and do our mindfulness technique my anxiety always reduces a couple of levels.
