Ugh. Brain zaps are the worst

Long story short, my fluoxetine dosage was upped from 20mg to 40mg, which was horrible as my anxiety seemed to hit the roof. I've since dropped back down to 20, and I've started getting zaps in the brain.

Uncomfortable, definitely, but nothing to be worried about. I've had them before, it's common when the dosage changes or you come off the meds.

I suppose I made this thread to reassure myself and anyone else that it's nothing to be worried about.

If it wasn't then here you go...

Some people have found relief from s/e's and brain zaps with fish oil suppliments/Omega 3's.

So if you are not already taking them, maybe this is something you want to look into?
