Waking up with chills and heart racing

Once or twice every few weeks or so, I wake up with my heart racing, palpitations and chills that cant seem to go away for minutes (after I get warm) Normally, I'd figure it was from reflux from falling asleep to quick after a meal. This time though, I hadn't taken much, just a magnesium supplement and some water. Admittedly I hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon although I ate snacks and chips at work. Does this happen to anyone and what could this be, I am almost afraid to go to sleep now.....

I just posted almost about the same exact thing!! except I didn't have the chills, I woke up after I think was not too long after I had fallen asleep, gasping for breath and my heart racing, I get palpitation normally anyway, but had a few at that moment too, I was ok after a few minutes, but every time I woke up again, I just felt uneasy, like my anxiety or panic was trying to bubble up to the surface, but it wasn't happening probably due to taking my medicine about an hour before i went to sleep due to my anxiety being really bad, i had eaten about an hour before going to bed, so im wondering the same thing, if maybe eating too soon to the time I went to bed did it?? I'm not too sure honestly what brings this on... and I too get scared and am afraid to go back to bed....
