Hi guys..I think medications somehow effect me or it's not them I'M not sure. I was taken 2 pills of citalopram and stop it I felt a litlle dizzy. Then next day I decide to take BETAHISTIN 16 MG From balance off feeling to see if it helping but I get more dizzy I drinked betahistin for 5 days one tablet at day and I decide to stop it..I know I can't do it like that. But now I feel verry bad my head is numb and I have sharp pain in head if i shake the head. Also I FeelING like dizzy especially at malls if turn around I get dizzy and litlle nausea..Is it side effect? my question can you had side effects for 3 days if I only take it for 5 days?? I stop it before 3 days and I still feeling verry bad what should I do that this head pressure and numbness with dizziness go away??

I looked up Betahistine cause I'm not familiar with that drug, and it is a anti-vertigo drug so it should not be making your dizziness worse. I can't find anywhere where it list dizziness as a side effect from it. If I were you I would keep taking it, I'm not sure it is a drug that needs to build up in your system or not but if it is then you'll need to take it for awhile before seeing the benefits. If you keep feeling dizzy then call your doctor and tell him, it could be that the betahistine isn't working for you and you need different anti-vertigo drug.

Thank you AngelLisa. But the thing is that nobody prescribed me betahistine..even my neurologist told that I shouldn't drink that because I don't have REAL vertigo..betahistine is for menieres disease. I HAD before only ground moving sensation it's not vertigo..and afte betahistine i start feeling headache and extra fatigue thats why I stop it..even after 3days I still feling bad.. I wondering can you also had long-term side effects only after 2pills of citalopram?

No I you can't have long term side effects after 2 doses of citalopram, it is just your anxiety making you feel this way. I'm sorry you are going thru this, but you really need to learn to use some coping skills to get your thru your anxiety. Have you watched any mindfulness video's, they really help.

Yes i watched them. But I'm not anxious right now..I even don't have panic atacks for long time. And now I'm really feeling calm,the head symptoms worst then I walk it's started after betahistine I'm not anxious about any bad disease I JUST FEEL the symptoms which are verry annoying,but I'm not anxious.
