Oncoming panic attack

I've been dealing with anxiety and panic off an on for a couple of years. I do have social anxiety and it's hard. I also deal with panic attacks once in a while. Lately I have been getting anxious when I visit friends and I get home and find myself all alone again. I recently got divorced too.

Right now I feel that I'm getting into a panic attack and I don't want it to break out fully as I'm at work and I need to function. I know I'll function even while anxious but still. I want to be comfortable and not panicky and I know it will get worse over the course of the day. I know an actual panic attack lasts only for 20 minutes. I know all that theoretic stuff, I read a lot of books. But still, if I cannot kick this feeling now I will feel like being on the verge of a panic attack for the rest of the day until it breaks out and I won't feel good afterwards either.

I have klonopin at home but I don't take it when I have to drive. I'm also on wellbutrin which helps with depression, yes but not with anxiety as this is a totally different pair of shoes. What can I do to calm myself down in such situations?

I'm normally on the UC board as I have that and I posted on the depression board before too. I don't want to give up my wellbutrin but something to help in addition would be nice. As I said, an anti-depression is something different than anti-anxiety meds. I used to be always against medication for my mental illness but I've came to a point where I'm done with battling and I want to enjoy living.

I keep hearing about some emergency medication. Can someone help me with that? What is the name of it and does it make you tired? I would love to have something like that. I know long term I need to look into solutions as well but like I said I need to function too.
