I'm not going to do anything, It will be near 100 degrees tomorrow so I'm sitting home in front of the A/C lol. I will venture outside to barbecue some ribs though. :)

Our town houses about
5000 people, but draws 25,000 for our parade!! It's unbelievable!
So....we are hosting a little party for breakfast before the parade and then we will walk over with family and friends and watch that for TWO long hours. It really is cool.
Then we plan to put the little guy to bed and have a fire in our yard and catch some of the random fireworks that we're able to see. I am obsessed with fireworks, but they're too late to keep my son up to watch since he's only 2.5, so I'll take what I can catch from my backyard!

Nothing. I find fireworks wasteful.

Normally we do our own fireworks, just a few but this year there is no fireworks allowed where I live cause it is extremely dry. We have had 80+ temps since June 3 and it's been over 90 degrees for the past 2 weeks, so everything is really dry. Owell I can watch them on tv :)

Fortunately, and unfortunately, our backyard
opens to the city park. We are a very small town, but all other small towns, and people from OKC make their way here to shoot off fireworks. They are illegal in all other towns around us.
My dogs hate it, and I get really tired of it. People have a way of inviting themselves over to take advantage of our
location.
I'm sure my grandson will be here tomorrow to shoot his off, which I greatly enjoy. Nothing like his laughter. Otherwise, we will just sit and watch everyone else blow up their money. lol
It is nice late at night when the pretty ones go off. Hubs and I sit out with a glass of wine or beer, and watch the show.

Hi
I am struggling with back pain so going to be taking it easy over the weekend and will mainly be watching Wimbledon supporting one of my sporting heroes Andy Murray

I never did care for fireworks, I don't get what the big deal is. On sunday we take my son to Camp, it's a camp for disabled adults, he really loves it and it gives me a much needed break. I hate the long drive to get there but oh well.
