For me, the answer would be yes...I feel I still benefitted from therapy, even with love and support of friends and family.
It was the tools and the anxiety management techniques that really made a difference for me...
...so hopefully along with being able to open up and talk, you are also learning skills from your therapy that will last for the long term management you are hoping for.:)
Another benefit to talking with a professional, is that they are trained to read between the lines, and detect subtle inferences that a regular person would not pick up on.
They can then point these issues out, and help motivate, and move you in the right direction.:)
