I been asking for someone to talk to and not one person helped me today. I noticed a lot of people post on here and they get responses right away and lots of help. I don't get much help. I been crying all evening and anxious. I have know one to talk to. Know one who won't judge me. I come on here to talk with people and ask for help. Or to help others if I can And out of 41 people who view my post hours later I get 2 responses :(. Sorry I am venting I'm exhausted from this anxiety and crying alone.

Bam,

It's not unusual to not get a response right away...I see it happen all the time.

One thing that may help is to be more specific in asking for help....

...when someone sees a non specific post, I think.maybe they don't know where to start to respond...

So asking a more pointed question may get you more support.:)

...now what can I do to help? Is your anxiety coming from a specific situation...or is it just a general flare? Are any of your coping skills helping?

I'm so sorry, bam. I really wish I'd had the opportunity to respond yesterday.

I wasn't doing well myself, and ended up sleeping for 4 hours. I woke up in time to start supper, and then my husband and kids took up the rest of my evening.

This PT 3 days a week is pretty hard on me. I drive an hour away for it, am there for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours, and then drive home. It's exhausting. All of the things I had on my to do list yesterday (no therapy) are still there, as I was just too tired to do them.

Remind me. Do you see a therapist? It really might be worth looking into if you don't. Sounds like you could use a regular talk therapy schedule.

I do care, and will try to be more available if I can manage it. I have therapy today, and another doctor's appt., so I'm not sure what time I'll be around.

Im sorry I hope I didn't sound rude.  Im just sad that the only place I can come be myself without being judged is here. JM I do see a therapist on a weekly basis, however she is on holidays this week. Im suppose to get my friend this month like anytime soon so not sure if the increase of meds and hormones got me. I just worry about every little think.  Its constant.  I live in fear for me and my family. Im tired of it. than I keep thinking im going to have an anaphalexis reaction to something.  Its all im my head but cant get ride of it.  and a whole bunch of other stuff.  I have ruined my life , my family life im a failure to my kids. My anxiety has stopped my children from having fun.  and so much more

Bam,

Don' t take things so personally ok? Everyone here is offering support voluntarily, and we all have our own problems to deal with everyday. Sometimes you have to wait to receive replies from people as they are busy with their life too. We are doing our best to keep the forum active.

Can you call people during the day and speak to them? I think you need to 'Chat' in real life and not come online for support when feeling anxious. When you are online, you won't receive replies immediately and that will cause more anxiety for you.

Trying looking for a service that offers counceling on the phone. That way you won't have to wait a whole week to speak to your therapist.

Bam,

I am going to say this and I need you to hear me and believe it. You are not a failure...you are a work in progress.

You are doing the best you can, but it takes time...and your family understands that.

Keep working towards your recovery. Use our Resources...pick a new challenge everyday. Learn a new meditation...use the therapy worksheets to combat negative thoughts...go through the health anxiety material again to help you with the anaphylaxis worries.

You can do this. Have faith in the methods and yourself!

I am soo terrified. I cant explain it. I just want to hide under a rock and cry cry cry. I have soo many fears I lost count. I am A failure , I really am. I see it in my families eyes. My poor children and husband. They don't deserve this at all.

I do not have a lot of people I can just call and cry my head off. I don't think you should of said that. This is a forum for those who suffer with some kind of illness and if they feel comfortable coming on here for some help than they should. without worrying about being judged.
This is a support group. this probably makes no sense as I am typing from my cell phone.

There is absolutely no need for you to get angry like that.
I've dealt with anxiety and panic for over 15 years and I've gone thru what you are experiencing right now and I remember exactly how I felt when no one replied to my post. I too had to deal with it all alone and when I couldn't find anyone online to be there for me, I made a phone call to the suicide hotline. They listened and helped me calm down. That is what I am talking about. You are panicking right now and this is when a REAL human voice will help you.

Yes this is a support group AND I just explained to you that this forum is run by volunteers. Which means, you won't always receive replies immediately. It will require some time because like Hibee explained to you we are all in different time zones and we all have a life offline. Why is it so difficult for you to understand that? I did not say you should stop seeking support. I replied to your FIRST post explaining to you that you won't be able to receive replies when you need them because of different reasons. That is why I told you you may want to speak to someone on the phone because there will always be a person to speak to you. Do you understand now?

I know you can do this. I also know you are stronger than you realize.

Have some time to cry it out if you need release...but then get back up, dust yourself off...and get to work!

You have it within yourself, I am certain of it.

I am not upset at all, I understand what you are saying but when im at work I cannot just pick up a phone and call a hotline. I have a lot of co-workers around me. I don't expect the same people to always respond. There are tons of people on here dealing with something and was hoping they would reach out to me. I am not on here to start anything. Just need support, that's all I ask for as im sure many do.

I was just encouraging you to pick a new coping skill.from our Resources every couple of days...

...this way you can find the ones that work the best for you,.and put them into regular rotation.

Anxiety is sneaky...and will try new tricks...

...but you are smarter and can out wit it with new skills!

Bam, we have all been through exactly what you're going through and it is very scary. Some days I wake up perfectly fine some days you wake up and you start crying for no reason and thoughts go through your head. That is the anxiety, things do get better and there are many coping skills mindfulness and deep breathing really really do help and know that we are here to help you get through this. things will get better. we have all been through exactly what you're going through and it is very scary.
