unexpected volunteer opportunity

see. what I did there? the truth is I got stuck volunteering for VBS at my church. my daughter is leading a group but got sick so I am filling in for her. not the way I wanted to spend my morning since I have to teach this afternoon but I'm going to make the best of its and stay positive. sorry to be m.i.a this morning I will be back on the forum in a few hours. also sorry for the bad capitalization and punctuation I am using my talk to text feature.

Do I want to do it again? Heck no!! Pffffttttt.

I have volunteered at VBS for many many years, and strategically took this year off! Working 3 1/2 hrs in the morning, only to teach a few more in the afternoon/evening is tough!

...but when my daughter, who is a teen crew leader got sick (cold virus, no biggie) I knew I needed to step in and let her get some rest at home.

Hopefully she will feel better to go back tomorrow. ;p

I love the little guys...but I love having my mornings to myself better! ;)
