I think it's still early. Granted I am on Zoloft and not Lexapro, but it took 6 weeks for me to feel better. I had ups and downs (a lot of downs) before that. I cried just about every day, even after a month in. I honestly didn't think there would be any difference between a month and 2 weeks more, but there was. Again, everyone is different, so there is a chance you could wait two more weeks and still have all of the downs you are currently experiencing.
I guess you have to decide whether waiting two to four more weeks to see if you get any true improvement outweighs the prospect of scrapping it for another medicine and starting all over. If it were me, I would give it the proper chance because two weeks is a lot less time than the process of starting a new med and ramping up on it. I know how agonizing it is to wait a day, much less two full weeks (or even a month), just to see if you might get better. If it doesn't work, you essentially just wasted that time when you could have moved on.
Whatever you decide, it will be the right decision. Only you know how much improvement you have truly felt on Lexapro, and only you can decide if you want to hang in there for the next couple of weeks, or whether you feel you've given the medicine enough chances and it's time to try something else.
Best of luck in whatever you decide!
