An anxious day...

Thanks, LMD. Aside from just the Sunday night anxiety, which is awful, I think my anxiety has been building because I'm supposed to get my genetic screening results this week and each day seems like it's dragging on forever, because I'm afraid of what sort of news I'll get. I think everything is just building up.

I'm trying not to feel to awful about the Xanax. The last time I was pregnant, I saw a MFM doctor and he was really calm about me needing meds, so I try to remember all of the things he said that took away some of my worry. Every time I swallow a pill though, I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach, like I'm doing something horrible to my baby. In addition to the emergency Xanax here and there, I still take my ambien daily. I've dealt with severe chronic insomnia for years and can go days without sleep if I don't take the ambien, so my doctor decided that it's best I stay on it for sleep purposes and to fight off anxiety.

Ugh.....baking a baby is literally the most stressful thing on earth, because you are literally 100% in charge. Or it feels that way. I think being pregnant is 100x harder than when the baby actually gets here.

Park I couldn't agree with you more!! This pregnancy is weighing me down. I just had my blood drawn for the genetic screening today, I asked her how long before the results, she told me 10 days!!!! I don't know if I can survive that long, I swear waiting for results is the hardest part.
Don't worry about the baby Park, he/she (hopefully she ;) ) will be fine. I know this is a terrible thing to say but do you know how many women go about life not knowing they were pregnant drinking, smoking, etc and end up having perfectly healthy babies. Here we are, taking good care of ourselves, not drinking, not smoking, taking prenatals, going to doctor appointments, etc. Don't worry..

I just made myself another appt with a breast specialist because my anxiety is through the roof, I really don't want to spend the next 7 months going from doctor to doctor but I can't help myself. I hate these hormones I just want this time to fly :( and here comes a depressing long winter.

Well my husband is in a meeting and I have no one that I can technically tell, but since he doesn't know you all, I'm saying it doesn't count!

My nurse just called and said we had perfect genetic testing and we're having another baby BOY!!!!!


I just knew that ultrasound was showing me the boy business!! I'm so relieved to hear that so far things are looking good and he's healthy!!!
