GI issues figured out,
Cardiologist reassurance.

Now I've convinced myself I've got head lice, all because of ONE hard piece of white stuff, what my rational side assumes is dandruff. Since mine is terrible.

I'm sitting here and trying not to laugh at myself because I sound INSANE. My head now feels itchy, because I keep thinking about it, ew!

With progress comes occasional set backs I suppose.

Yes, good outlook....setbacks do happen.

However, I can tell your rational thoughts are going to win this one...

...but I know what you mean...

I can't watch those shows on t.v. that depict the tiny organisms that can infect the body...

...I start mad itching and squirming at the thought! ;)

I'm like that with parasites and Lyme disease. It's funny because I've had three EKGs in the past 4 months because I tell the doc I have heart palpitations. The palpitations don't incite any fear at all. I get scared about the "what ifs".

I really do not like getting my echo done, well, it is fine, except for the awkward positions you are in and the operator pushing down hard and stuff, that is fine, the woosh squash heart thingy pumping noise, errrrrrrrr. yuck.

Hi

I agree health anxiety is the worst.

I find it is by far the most difficult type of anxiety to deal with and can really take over your life if you let it.

The same here and yeah Hypochondria is the worse.
Especially when you just say "oh God can it be that I am totally HA free now??" and then, bam!

Well feeling stupid after every HA bout is also quite discouraging.

I wish I could start a campaign for educating(!) the doctors and everyone about this debilitating condition so they take it more serious... I really would do it.
