Hey Evan.
Welcome, and I'm sorry to hear about
your suffering. Have you asked your doctor about
the possibility of you having anxiety? It could be worth a shot. I do hope you keep posting, there are lots of people here for you ready to listen!

Hello TG and welcome.
I am so sorry to hear of your symptoms and the fears they naturally create.
It is astonishing the very real physical sensations that anxiety can manifest as.
If you've been seen regular for annual check ups, and have no known predisposition risks for a heart issue...then you can safely assume that what you are suffering with is anxiety and it's effects.
Have you tried anything thus far from an anxiety management standpoint?
We have great links in our Resources here that could get you started. ..would you like me to post the links for you?
Therapy, self help, and medication (if indicated) are the preferred methods of treatment for anxiety.
Your 'exposure therapy' idea of exercise could be useful if introduced gently, in combination with these other options...so as not to exacerbate the situation.
I really think getting into a treatment plan is you best move. Let us know how we can help/encourage you...because we want to help you reach your goals.:)
Keep posting...support is key.:)
