Hello everybody,

I'm about to see my GP in a couple of hours, I'm a bit anxious about that. I just wanted to discuss this coldness that has been bothering me for a while. I feel cd most of the time that it bothers me, usually it's my hands and feet and they it doesn't go away. Does anybody have this and what can I try to help the discomfort?

Hello Soul,

I get this a lot. Mine is from my body temp running low all of the time. I try to keep socks on my feet and my hands in pockets or moving all the time. My doc says there is nothing wrong with me just a lower body temp than most. I get cold even in the summer. So I run around in socks and all even then. It looks funny to some but whatever helps. This may be the case for you as well. I know that some meds also cause cold hands and feet as well. Try to stay calm I am sure it is nothing to be worried about. Ask your doc and they will help I am sure.

Lately I've been wearing double socks and some times stand on a heated pad to help me. The problem with trying to get to warm is I start to have these hot and cold flashes, it's hard to explain lol. Mainly it's the feet that bothers me the most cause they get cold and numb.

Yep....thermostat problems here as well...

I run from cold (more usual) to hot (mostly in my face.)

I think this is one of those cases of a normal human condition...being blown out of proportion by our anxiety.

I hope your appointment goes well and all of your concerns get addressed. :)

This happens with me. I am normally warmer than everyone else... but when a panic attack or anxiety hits I will get either hot/cold flashes or just be really cold. I'll even shiver from it. Hot showers help.
