Uhh just got a call from dr and she says my Vitamin D levels are way too low for normal levels :(
I was trying to find a cause behind my elevated Parathyroid hormone and calcium levels in blood, then the dr asked a vitamin D check in blood.
She asked "when was the last time you were under the sun?" and I was like, doc, remember we live in Sweden. What is SUN LIGHT? And besides my husband is vegan and we don't eat animal products at home. But now I am guessing I will start eating at least fish/egg again...
I am quite anxious now I must say, I know it won't kill you right away but such deficiency will bring so many serious health conditions, including the one I don't want to mention here.
Besides this uncertainty about my parathyroids and having more blood tests, unanswered questions on the phone and the dr saying "well yeah I can't say much now. Come tomorrow morning to lab, I want liver function tests, Celiac tests, intolerance test, etc" is making me too freaked out ://
Darn...
