Anxiety over antibiotics

Wow..just mention possible side effects and my imagination runs:(
Currently on 2nd day of 5 of arithromycin and I am panicking. Yesterday was in so much pain from sinus infection that I took the double dose and didn't care about side effects. But today I have stomach gurgling and my cheeks are so flushed and really hot! Of course then I imagine the worst even though I took the dosage about two and a half hours ago. Surely if I were going to have severe side effects they would occur immediately right?? I'm listening to some calming brain waves to try calming down but also imagining my lips and tongue are itchy...
But should add that it is -20 today and I was in and out in this frigid weather...bah! I'm driving myself crazy!!

Wow!! That IS cold!! I would imagine your face is flushed and hot due to wind burn...which I always get in colder weather!

As far as your antibiotic goes...Erythromycin is a mild and common abx...so you will be fine I am sure.:)

I took Cipro a couple months back, which is stronger and had no issues whatsoever.

You need your all of your Rx to fully get over the infection, so be sure and finish the course.
