This used to happen to me everyday...and it is no way to start things off, right?
The things that helped me the most were relaxation techniques. ..both before bed, and immediately upon awakening. ..and positive mantras.
I believe mantras are so important because anxiety is constantly sending us negative/scary thoughts...and without words to combat them...they take over and directly effect how we feel.
If you can try and repeat reassuring phrases such as the following, it will help. (with time and consistency)
"I am okay, this is just anxiety causing these worries and feelings."
"I have felt this way before and been fine...these are just the same fears trying to take over, but I won't let that happen."
